Ghana Electrical Contractors Association (GECA), founded in 1948, is a member-based association of Electrical Contractors in Ghana. GECA is Ghana’s leading trade association representing the interests of contractors who design, install, inspect, test and maintain electrical and electronic equipment and services.   Its mission is to provide a focal point for all licensed electrical contractors in Ghana, to plan for the welfare of members and promote electrical contracting works throughout the country.

In seeking to secure and maintain a high-level of professional standards among members, the association also aims at regulating the conduct of members of the association generally.   GECA has over 1000 members across the ten regions of Ghana. GECA is composed of a National Association governed by an elected Council comprised of a National President, its executive officers, ten Regional Chairmen and their executive members.
